Broxton: Oi! How'my doin? Not bad. Not bad. Been busy. Starting up a small business and working with my brother on an internet thing. Haven't listened to much in the way of film scores in awhile... so haven't had a lot to say. My days of lounging in the cinema are over... so I've been out of the loop. It's kinda sad, but I guess everything changes. Have dropped in occassionally, though, just to see how things are. Your site's as cool as always. Sweeny Tood, does indeed rule (gets my vote for most entertaining picture of the year... makes a great Christmas movie AND Valentine's film -- after all, red is such "festive" color). Btw, I STILL tell friends about the Anglo-horror-Saxon-sin that IS mushy peas. It came in conversation the other day, which is why I felt like posting. ;D Jens: You sonofabitch! How the hell are you? You know, I went looking for you like a year ago, but it appeared you dropped off the planet as well. Glad to see you're still alive. Word to the wise: if you wanna stay in touch, leave a functioning email address somewhere ya Southern Fried Sauerkraut. Btw, saw Patton on DVD the other day. Still my favorite Goldsmith score. You know, he nearly had to turn it down to do the sequel to Planet of the Apes? But he decided to do Patton instead. Heh ... what a sucker. Eh. I don't know. I should probably post more . . . though I feel like it'd be like the Godfather somehow. "Just when I thought I was out... they keep sucking me back in." We'll see.

Oh, c´mon Texie....Don´t you like being sucked back in? Good ol´times, memories, scores, and blah, blah, blah... Time to worship Elfman again, ain´t it? ;D

Noooooooo! It's all coming back!

Actually, to be honest, I haven't really been falling over Elfman's work lately. The last one I heard was Charlotte's Web, which I liked (though it seemed slightly derivative of some of his Corpse Bride stuff). I actually was one of the few who didn't get (as in, understand) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and I didn't go nuts over the score either. I'd still have to say Corpse Bride's been his best since Spider-man, and probably my favorite in the past decade (again, outside of Spider-man... though it's hard to say which I like more, cause they're both completely different).
Oh... btw... ummm... who are you?

Oh... btw... ummm... who are you? My real name is Jorge Núñez. Probably it doesn´t ring the bell, because I don´t post that often. But have always been the lurking-don´t take-things-too-seriously-kind-of-poster I "met" you (and some people around here) through Filmtracks´scoreboard. And still ´round, as you can see. Glad to see you around....

My real name is Jorge Núñez. Now I get it. I never associated "Jorgen" with Jorge Nunez until now. I just thought it was someone named Jorgen. ;D -Nate

But when I created my profile here I wasn´t in the mood of tipying it all, with the "ñ" and the "ú" It was once it was created I realised it could be misunderstood but some german/danish/sweddish... name. Oh, well. How is everything, Nate? If you´re still looking for a CDr of Goldsmith´s "The ´burbs", remember I could do a copy (not that great score. Decent, funny, but not spectacular, IMO, ´course) (Go and get something by Fenton instead) ;D

Thanks jorgen.
Didn't mean to pry -- you were just talking to me as if you knew me from somewhere. Just wanted to refresh my memory.
Now that we know each other better, I now reserve the right to hate you if I so wish. Enjoy! ;D

The other Nate -- would that be Nate U.? Wasn't there another Nate too?
I have decided there are too many Nates in the world. Some will have to be sacrificed.

When's the last time Nate U. lived in Minnesota? And as far as I know there are only two Nates that post here: me and Nate U. Yes, I'm not Nate U. I have to do this announcement about once a year just to make sure people know I'm not Nate U (aka N8). I don't want to ruin his reputation.

When's the last time Nate U. lived in Minnesota? Actually, confusion could still occur given that when Tex met Nate U. in person for the first time, he HAD just come from MN since Nate U. rode with me in the green minivan of death to Ohio for the first Gathering. Nate U. also visits Minnesota on a regular basis to visit relatives. In conclusion, Minnesota is the best state ever. Unless Al Franken wins a senate seat...then it will suck harder than a Dyson. This has been a public service announcement from Brendan Anderson, also formerly of Minnesota. -Brendan

But, still for "location" in your profile why put "Minnesota" if you didn't live there? I have relatives in New Jersey, but I don't put "Location: New Jersey." I used to purchase tons of scores from a Walmart in Wisconsin, but I didn't put "Location: Wisconsin."
