Yup, indeed.
Gone.
Is this the end of an era?
The end of the legendary Scoreboard Brotherhood?
THE END?
Nah, it will rise again ... just like Godzilla.
You don't get rid of a pain in the ass that easy.

Huzzah! We're free of its evil spell! Jens, why do you hate Filmtracks so much? I just don't see how it's that bad... perhaps because I haven't been around as long as you and didn't experience the glory years. And to address your suggeston from the Filmtracks board, meeting up in England is cool with me. It would be nice to actually meet the infamous Jens Eric Dietrich. To meet anyone from the board would be nice really, because you all are so chummy and have "gathered" on several occassions, kinda makes me feel left out. ~Emily~

Hi Emily! Glad to see you here! (1) I wanted to open a thread on the subject, but waiting so many hours obviously was not the bright way to go (2) So you've already destrooyed the Scoreboard, Jon, uh? (3) More seriously, Clem announced he would be making some changes. (4) Nothing yet. I just felt it would be better with a fourth point. Let me see-- ah yes! it's dark in here. Is there anything like customizable templates? Something with a lesser contrast between text & background? Please? (5) I don't have anything against the Scoreboard.

I just saw on CNN where Marines have pulled Christian Clemmensen from his spider-hole in the mountains of Montana! Jon Broxton is expected to post a "Mission Accomplished" banner across the MMUK forum sometime later today.

Nothing can contain the evil which exists in the Filmtracks Scoreboard. Evil can never be defeated, it will just come back bigger, badder, and more sinister than ever. I was writing a devilish response to Hook's post when God came down from heaven and said technically you can not post that. But Trust me, Evil will prevail. As Hook wrote: Humanity is a lost cause" [insert devilish emoction]

Prepare yourself for an unforgetable experience, if you ever met up with Jens. It's something that I'll have to do one day. Anyway prepare yourelf by reading This Ranger's Tale. It might answer your first question www.fournote.net/gather.html Nothing prepares you for meeting Jens. I'll never forget the first words he uttered to me: "Who the f**k are you?" pete

I'll never forget the first words he uttered to me: "Who the f**k are you?" I was just thinking the same thing when I read that... but then again one must know that he does leave an ever lasting impression I'm looking for the shirt/button that says... I survived Jens sleeping the floor below me and I got a massage at the same time (from the reverberations of his snores). That's no complaint... No making fun... Just the facts (someone to keep me in competion for the world's loudest snore).

Don't worry, Emily, once you have basked in the presence of Jens, everyone else you ever meet for the rest of your life will seem quiet and reserved in comparison You serious about this meeting up with a few of us thing? Cos, when we Gather, we really Gather!

Cos, when we Gather, we really Gather! Hell, why not? Who knows if I'll ever be back in the UK again, and this trip is probably my best opportunity to actually meet other people who share my love for film scores. You only live once, right? ~Emily~

No, honestly, it was quite funny. I've also read the quotes from the Howard Shore gathering. Also interesting. ~Emily~
