Hey folks,
So, are you following any television shows on a regular basis? If so, which ones?
As for myself, I've been following "Pushing Daisies", "Dirty Sexy Money", "The Office", "30 Rock" (which comes back at the end of the month), and "Heroes". That last one is starting to get really horrible, though. I also checked out the premeire of the U.S. version of "Life on Mars", and thought it was quite good. I'll definitely stick with that one for a while.

I'm into Scrubs and Lost, which means I have nothing until January.

Lost, Desperate Housewives (when I remember), and then random cop shows like CSI, Bones, Without a Trace. The UK version of Life on Mars was WONDERFUL, and I'm pleased the new US version is just as good.
Other than that I watch lots and lots and lots of soccer.

I LOVE Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern. Travelogs with a food-slant are just so fascinating. Did you ever see any of Michael Palin's documentaries, muckle? Around the World in 80 Days, Pole to Pole, Full Circle?

I really enjoy Michael Palin's documentaries. Come to think of it, some cool documentary stuff has also been done by John Cleese (Something about the human face, a special on wine) and Terry Jones (He did a cool doc on The Barbarians that I saw).

...and "Heroes". That last one is starting to get really horrible, though. Where have you been? Heroes has been unwatchably bad since the beginning of season 2.

Last season was certainly misguided, but it was rather elegant in comparison to the anything-goes insanity that is taking place this season. Season two was just "meh" bad, this season is giant train wreck bad. Back at ya later

What?! Heroes is (still) awesome! I used to love Scrubs, but IMO it's gotten a bit dull these last few seasons. Shows that I watch: Chuck (OMG, if you haven't seen it, rent the first season - it's awesome!), Heroes, Gossip Girl (hehe), Pushing Daisies, Lost, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, The Office, 30 Rock, Desperate Housewives. It's funny that because of the writers' strike, I adapted and found other things to do with my time, e.g., Xbox 360, and MMUK. So when the flood of TV shows came back on, I realized I can't keep up with all of the ones that I used to watch.... Shows I watched last season but have decided to give up: Smallville, Lipstick Jungle, Private Practice. Also, I watched a couple episodes of Fringe and thought it was ok but not great. I heard one of the more recent episodes was much better, though. Thoughts?

Heroes & Prison Break, mostly. Of course they air at the same time. But both networks have high quality streams online that my campus connection has no problems with.....and much less commercials too.

As far as I'm concerned, Mad Man is the single best thing on television right now. What the hell is your excuse for not watching it?

As far as I'm concerned, Mad Man is the single best thing on television right now. What the hell is your excuse for not watching it? I cancelled my cable television service. I wasn't watching enough of it to make it worth my time. However, I did watch the first season of "Mad Men" on Blu-ray, and thought it was fantastic. Back at ya later

Aside from late night TV, I mostly watch House and that's pretty much it. This season fills yet another one of my prerequisites for being entertained: lesbians. Others have already been filled, with violence, blood and gore, high-speed car crashes, and drug abuse.

They use dish network i think.
Still, the streams at fox.com and nbc.com are much better quality.

While in Switzerland, BBC was the only thing in English and we saw this cool show called "Hotel Babylon"...well, it wasn't that cool, but it got me hooked rather fast. Never caught it again though...

The only television I watch any more is at work and that is basically relegated to the news and the occasional movie on TCM. All other shows, I keep tabs on by watching them online; at least, what few there are. Lately, I've been rewatching the original Star Trek and keeping up with Kitchen Nightmares, Monk, Psych, Family Guy, and South Park. That's about it. The only things I do miss on television are Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs.
