Why are you (or anyone) still watching Monk? It's completely gone to crap from an awesome few two and a half seasons.

Why are you (or anyone) still watching Monk? It's completely gone to crap from an awesome few two and a half seasons. It certainly isn't the show it once was, but I still enjoy it on occassion. To be perfectly honest, I've only seen a couple [forgettable] episodes from the latest season, so... I'm really not keeping up with it as much as I once was. It was and is among the very few TV shows I actually "keep up with" though; thus why I added it to the list. -Jockolantern

I've finally just started the first season of Lost. I'm pretty behind the times....

Oh, man, make sure you watch all four seasons before Season 5 starts in January! Lost is still my favorite show in TV...

Just finished season 1. Liked it a lot. I hope the rest of the seasons can maintain that level of quality.

It just gets better and better. Well, for one more season anyway. Season 3 is a massive piece of manure.

It's interesting to hear what people think about each season compared to the last. I've heard that season two isn't as good as one, but three is and four is almost as good. I've heard that each one gets progressively worse. Now this. I'm hooked, so I'll find out what I think about it in not too much time. Is it true that they planned out 7 whole seasons for this and that they're going to stay true to their original plan?

No, LOST will only run through Season 6...so it will all be over as of May, 2010. Season 3 did flounder a bit, but Season 4 more than makes up for it. The reason Season 3 was kind of meandering is that at that time the show writers didn't know how many seasons the show was going to run...and without a clear end point, it's hard to write with clear direction. But by the time Season 4 came on, it had been determined exactly how many seasons/episodes the show would run meaning they could plan the story line to its full extent - the result is a massive web spun thick enough that they'll easily have 2 more seasons worth of great material. For LOST fans, if you haven't seen it yet: Season 5 Preview

I never saw season one. Or Two. Or maybe I saw part of 2. I think I started at season 3 though. It's good, but I don't think it's this great masterpiece that so many people consider it to be.

That's because you only started watching in Season 3. You'll have absolutely no idea what's going on unless you watch it all.

Correction: I now watch 30 Rock. 1) I love Tina Fey. 2) Just watched the season premiere on Hulu and it's pretty fun, not at all what I remember from the season 1 episodes I watched when they came out.
