But you said it was a special cut prepared specially by Shyamamalamalan... it can't just be the obligatory removal of gore, can it? Anyone could do that.

(And Sex and the City wasn't awful) Unless you provide documents explicating how you are, in reality, a woman, I hereby revoke your movie-going license. But hey! Good news. I saw The Incredible Hulk last night and had a fun time. It's not as good as Iron Man or as good as a Hulk movie could be, but it's fun, funny, and the actors are really into their roles (can Tim Roth suck in a movie? I don't think that's possible), which is, I guess, what you want from a comics film. All in all, a solid action flick that delivers the famous line "Hulk Smash!" with chills from your spine and the answer as to why Hulk can keep Bruce's shorts when transforming. And more importantly, it's enjoyable, which I'd hope was something I could say about Ang Lee's Hulk back in '03. Now, in 2008, there aren't many things I could say about Ang Lee's Hulk.

I actually liked the Happening quite a lot. However, one must remember that I was hit by a car less than three hours before seeing the film, so my opinion probably shouldn't be counted.
Back at ya later

I think Jocko that, should you ever see it, you'll find The Hottie and the Nottie to be the worst movie of the year. Though I predict this will come pretty close as well. I know, I know, you were only talking about films you've seen. Just wanted an excuse to mention these. Also, I see everything. (And Sex and the City wasn't awful)The House Bunny looks terrible, and I'm sad to see Emma Stone, who was pretty good and cute in Superbad to choose this as a followup film, though since the "bunny" is being played by Anna Faris, I'm sure it'll just further flush her career down the toilet. Of course the most disappointing cast member appearance is the talented Colin Hanks. That said, are you sure this won't be the worst film of the year?

The only thing the Beverly Hills Chihuahua trailer conveyed to me was that the movie had singing and dancing Latino stereotype chihuahuas in it... certainly moronic enough to make me want to beat my head in with a hammer, but not near the level of sheer reprehensibleness The House Bunny exhibits.
Also, since when does Anna Faris have a career? The only thing I ever remember seeing her in are the Scary Movies, and those barely even count as movies.

Oh yeah, I DID see May. That was kinda neat. Isn't she one of the victims, the glamorous girl?

Back at ya later I don't know if you noticed my more in-depth post at the Intrada board, but I too liked The Happening quite a lot. Yavar
