Just getting to know your fellow filmmusic enthusiasts a little... I'll kick off...
Besides listening to filmmusic I love composing music myself; I'm also a little into (digital) photography and graphic design. I love going for longs walks in nature and take (hopefully: nice) pics. I wouldn't mind making a living producing/selling postcards! ;D I'm also an editor and graphic designer for a Dutch printed magazine about filmmusic and I really enjoy the proces of designing the mag.
Most of my free time is spend writing music though. At the moment I have a mobile set up with a small midi-keyboard and a big-assed laptop running all sorts of sequencers, synths and samplers.
And finally...I love relaxing with a nice cup of coffee. It's hardly a "hobby", but I couldn't live without it. ;D

Well, the two of you already know that I study graphic and web design, so I guess it would be silly of me to list them as hobbies. Other than that, I'm first and foremost a film snob. Also... Console gaming (PS2, X-Box) Travelling Harassing composers for promos/complete scores Making an ass out of myself on Internet message boards Futurama Food Gaining weight Games such as this: I think that says everything you've ever wanted to know about Jens Dietrich.

First and foremost... 1) Watching movies Then... 2) Visiting the same 10 web sites 3 times a day 3) Listening to film music 4) The occasional football game 5) Oh... enjoying massages by nice chinese girls.. And I think I should follow Jens in harassing composers for promos and complete scores. Even though I might change to harassing Jon. He's them all...

1. Reading. 2. Writing. 3. Hiking some nature trails when I find the time. 4. And, of course, the same thing I do every day, Pinky: Try to take over the world.

That is a good idea. Let's take over the world and make listening to fil music compulspry everywhere. Bars, restaurants, schools, airports...

My other hobby is photography. Being an American one of the things I really like to do is photograph baseball. Since I have little interest in the Major Leagues I have taken to college baseball and do the pictures for the San Diego State Aztecs. I do digital to save money. Last year as an example I took over 20,000 images. Only about 100 were printed but you need lots of choices for sure. Tom

Just getting to know your fellow filmmusic enthusiasts a little Because of that I have hesitated posting on this thread. I am not a filmmusic enthusiast but a member of the Score Widowers Club. That being so it gives me lots of more time for hobbies... Mostly cooking but looking forward to getting back to the states and spending time with my horses and spending ample time at the beach. I use to write and enjoy my photography too but haven't done that in ages.
Lately I've been enjoying the movies, and oh so greatful for the £9.99 a month all you can see movie passes, reading (just about halfway through the unabridged version of Stepehen King's The Stand), and of course the nightly ritual of a Simpson's episode or two.

Except listening to film music I love to discuss it with fellow fans, especially those with musical background. I tend to spend my spare time writing movie scripts. I also love to study old literature, especially Renaissance and Classical. And I've been looking for a girlfriend for so long that I think I could say it became a hobby ;D
