I love to watch movies (of all shapes and sizes), compose music, play the piano (I suppose I'd better enjoy it, considering it's what I'll be getting my bachelor's degree in ;D), read a good novel (love sci-fi and fantasy the most, but I'll give just about anything a chance. . . except romance ), play racquetball, watch Family Guy episodes over and over again, hang out with all my college-town buddies, and take nice, long walks all by myself. So have you been walking in the snow yet? If so, what were you listening too. I guess that I should admit that being a wanderlust is a hobby of mine's too. I like to walk around by myself listening to music or whatever sounds there are...

Well, Carlton, sometimes I listen to music, but I often don't. I just like to have some silence for a change and just wander through the neighborhood parks or quiet streets and just take in some fresh, peaceful, undisturbed air. I've walked through the snow many-a-time as well and sometimes it's really just fun to find a big, untouched patch to lay down in and relax. Last time I did take a walk while listening to music, I was listening to 'Yo-Yo Ma Plays the Music of John Williams', a phenomenally good CD that I'd recommend everyone who loves Williams' music pick up post-haste. Apart from that, I've listened to all of Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings scores countless times on walks. Those are always welcome to my ears.

Question is...would you want to see me playing tennis? I'd pay good money to see you play Jon, if that's what you're asking.

Comic books. A few favorite authors are Christopher Priest, Peter David and Grant Morrison. Artists... John Romita Jr., Andrew Wildman, Jim Lee and Geoff Senior. Favorite series are Nth Man by Larry Hama and Ron Wagner, Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons or Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind by Hayao Miyazaki. Watching movies. A few favorites are Dark City, Three Kings, Star Trek II and First Contact, Raising Arizona, The Princess Bride, Nausicaa, Laputa, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, the LOTR and original Star Wars trilogies, and many more I can't think of just because I'm trying to think of them... G.I. Joe 3 3/4 inch Action Figures. I have hundreds. My personal favorite: European Exclusive Tiger Force Outback. www.yojoe.com/action/int/tfoutback.shtml One day, I hope to have a beard like that... Writing. I'm currently writing a script for my brother to draw so we can self-publish it. This is against all common sense, as in the U.S. comics and graphic novels are a shrinking cottage industry and we have little money. But there's nothing else I'd rather be doing. So common sense can take a flying leap. Sleeping. I love to sleep. I always have vivid dreams and can usually fly if I feel like it. Often my imagination totally cuts loose, which means I am often disappointed by the real world when I awake. Other times, I am immensely relieved. In my dreams I've been killed by nuclear bombs several times. Drinking Dr. Pepper. Self-explanatory. I, of course, love music and would love to write and perform, but I figure, there's enough of you guys already going for that, and at my age, realistically, there's really only so much one can take on and be good at. But then, I just said I was going to try to succeed doing my dream, so screw being realistic... -Jon

What kind of film music would you play in a bar? I could see the Terminal in Airports, Uncle Buck in schools, Backdraft and Chariots of Fire in Restaurants, but Bars... I'm drawing a blank.
