In LA, there's a Cereal Bar that I've always wanted to try out. You can have them mix and match any kind of cereal, on top of putting a variety of toppings. www.jujucerealbar.com/Holy awesome! We are so going there when I get back to L.A. again. Joe, breakfast is medically proven to maintain a healthy metabolism. It's been linked to one of the primary causes of people becoming overweight! If you don't wake up and get your body processing some fuel, you throw your whole system out of whack! That's why those cereal commercials always show a "balanced breakfast" as cereal, 3 eggs, two pieces of toast, milk, orange juice, a banana, and the liberally-biased newspaper of your choice. Crispix is an interesting choice...I've never tried it, but might go for that next. However, the name unfortunately sounds like it would be a really cheap 2-megapixel camera made by Fuji... -Brendan

Crispix reminds me of Triscuits, which I don't particularly enjoy....

Holy awesome! We are so going there when I get back to L.A. again. Are you sure you can handle it, Brendan? All those toppings look like they would turn the milk a rainbow of colors. And the pic on the right looks more like an ice cream sundae than cereal!

Crispix reminds me of Triscuits, which I don't particularly enjoy.... Crispix is nothing like Triscuits! Although I do like them both. Triscuits with extra sharp cheddar cheese melted in the microwave - mmmm.....

Yes, you gotta eat breakfast in order to give your metabolism permission to burn calories. Otherwise, your body thinks it's starving and your metabolism slows down to try and save energy.
And yes, that Egg McMuffin thing does look awesome.

Triscuits are far more like frosted mini wheats. Take away the salt, change the shape, frost one side and....there you go. I like frosted mini wheats more than triscuits though.

Original Frosted Mini Wheats is good, but it's cool to have all of the flavor variations on them. Maple and brown sugar, strawberry, etc. You could just munch on those all day for a snack if you wanted to.

UPDATE: This weekend at the store, I was all set to try some of your suggestions when a new cereal of such absurdity caught my eye, I just had to try it: Frosted Mini Wheats Little Bites Honey Nut Not only is that probably the longest title for a cereal ever, but the fact that it's both "Mini" and "Little" is delightfully ridiculous. But you know what else? They're delicious! They do well in the milk-interaction category as well. I'm all set for the next month or so it seems... -Brendan

Used to be a big cereal fan. Now? Not so much. I'd eat the Kellogg's honey kind and a high fiber cereal, the kind that comes in, uh, strips? And no, it's not because I want to super-excrete. I like the taste.
I hate Count Chocula, though.

I haven't touched cereal since I crashed my car while eating cinnamon toast crunch... Whilst talking on your cell phone and shaving at the same time, I imagine?

Brendan, glad to know you're meeting your daily fiber and multi-grain requirements, hehe.

I haven't eaten cereal in 3-4 years, but when I did, Oh's and Captain Crunch was what I liked the most. Somewhere along the way I stopped drinking milk altogether and consequently stopped eating cereal.
