I might put a poll up, so I'll end up chosing the pic least people have problems with. If I can be bothered, that is.

I see some similarities...are we distantly related, Armin? CK (no complaints from me this time!)

Actually, I was thinking how much Armin looks like my old Horner Shrine buddy Karsten Spreen!

Hey, Jon, do you know what Karsten is up to? I had the pleasure to briely meet him before everything went downhill. He also was on the film score central list towards the end. We have to get him here. The man is a legend!
I'm glad there are no (initial) issues with my new avatar.
About the similarities I am guessing it's the Germanic roots we share (since I am not a real Italian). The fact that Karsten also is supposedly looking similar underlines my theory. It's quite funny though, because people here (the German speakers of Italy) always say I look more like an Italian than they do. You have to know though that this is a peasant place, and I look slightly more refined than most others do, so that's maybe why.

Actually, I was thinking how much Armin looks like my old Horner Shrine buddy Karsten Spreen! Continue ahead for zero point two kilomeeeeters. Turn left. Continue ahead for zero point one kilomeeeeeters. Turn right. Continue ahead for zero point one kilomeeeeeters. Arrive at destination.

I believe it's a direct "Spreenian" quote from when Southall, Karsten and myself were in California together.

I thought he was a really nice guy. Strangely, the last I heard of him was when I read a truly horrible post he made about me at the Horner Shrine some time ago. I guess he thought I didn't read there (how little he knows - I read EVERYWHERE) so he didn't intend me to read it, but it was quite hurtful. Seemed rather out of character.

Really? I didn't know that. It DOES seem rather unlike him. What did he say?

He didn't like me or my website and encouraged people not to read it. I didn't like Horner enough - so what's the point. (In fact I bet I've been more positive about Horner than anyone else these last few years!)

That sounds very silly, and I agree, very unlike him. Then again, I guess it is, or was, there black on white, so no arguing with that. It's probably when people get stressed out weird things happen. So is he gone for good or does he hang around somewhere still? I have another 2 buddies who just disappeared at some point. Kinda like Jon (sometimes), but unlike him, they never came back...

Why am I insulting myself? My question is: Why did you horizontally stretch your avatar pic? You look like a 4:3 image badly projected on a 16:9 screen.

Oh, and I like your new signature quotation very much, by the way.

It wasn't me...it was the BOARD!!!! This should solve your problem: Just set height and width to exactly 85x85 and you're set. Oh, and I like your new signature quotation very much, by the way. Thanks.
