Well, there was a trumpet playing smurf, as far as I remember. So it is only natural that there could've been a french horn playing one as well... I like to disturb people... ;D I'm going to agree with Brendan. It does look a little disturbing. Your smurf is too blue in the flace. Maybe he has been blowing too much air beacuse his french horn wasn't properly constructed. ;D As I recall, the smurf trumpet was a little primordial. (How many notes did that thing play) So, I'm not certain if the smurfs made the fench horn jump. They had other things to worry about... -CG

Actually if we two were the only contestants you'd win by a landslide. Ah, let him win. If he wins the beauty contest, it means he has more feminine facial features. ;D

You all want to force me to put my real (ugly) picture up. Well, when it happens know that it was all your fault. ;D
The big (blue) nose reference is actually quite funny. It's another way the Chinese call foreigners: "big noses"

I find it funny that Tromboja looks like my neighbor from back home.
Interesting...same-looking poeple in Bavaria AND Atlanta. Huh!

Noooooooo. America being a country with very deep roots and an indigenous population that couldn't possibly have anything to do with a remote place like Europe... ;D

And Brendan--looks like your chiding about avatars worked. People are adding or changing pictures left and right! I had no idea people were taking my post so seriously. All I was really intending to do was poke fun at Tom for rating people's e-mail etiquette. But I am pleased at the avatar creativity on display now...it livens up the look of this board quite a bit. And Armin, the Smurf is growing on me (or should I say Smurfing on me.....wait...that could mean he's doing something inappropriate with my leg...never mind.) -Brendan

Smurfs... smurfing. Reminds me of a REAL interesting conversation Emily and I had on the London Underground about "gargamel"...

Armin, for everything that is holy and sacred, please change your avatar. It is downright perverse.

Armin: What's an "omplaint"? I see that you removed your picture, but telling me that a public omplaint caused it to be removed does little to clarify why it's gone.
(See, even without an avatar people will complain.)
