Hey, anyone here see (or own) this 1959 film, Ben Hur: A Tale of the Christ? I have one question. Does anyone know if Haya and her Mother had thier leprosy cured before, during, or after the rain came. I can't remember and I don't want to re-rent this one. Also, if some one could jot down the different types of speeds used in the "Rowing Gallery" scene, it would be very appreciated. "Battle Speed" "Raming Speed" ...

They are both cured as Jesus dies and water pours down from the sky. The lightning that follows makes their cure all the more "dramatic". Remember that, before the storm, there's a hilarious scene were a blind man is disgusted by their leprosy. Well, what the hell, I laughed.
As to the speed, I seem to recall a certain "ludicrous speed". I believe it lead to another hilarious outcome though I could be wrong about this one.
