Saw this flick over the weekend because I'm a huge fan of Topher Grace (from That 70's Show). Entertaining and likeable, but not an awesome movie, as it does drag in a few parts and the ending was kind of flat in my opinion. Grace was of course completely adorable, but his usual fidgetyness and mannerisms were toned down a bit. The rest of the performances were pretty good (especially David Paymer as the dejected, groveling-to-keep-his-job Morty), but I honestly thought Scarlet Johansson's acting was really weak. Is it just me, or does she always sound like she's got a sore throat? Just thought I'd let you all know, because I'm sure In Good Company was high on all of your movies to see lists..... ~Emily~

Actually, it IS on my to-see list. Trailers have been playing in the UK for a week or so now... I liked the Weitz's About a Boy... and Dennis Quaid is one of my favourite actors... so, good potential all round for me.
Stephen Trask did the score. Any good?

Stephen Trask did the score. Any good? Er...well, I actually didn't really pay much attention to the score . I guess it didn't strike me as being great, but I did check out the few sound clips on Amazon and they sound nice, and that's about it. I mostly noticed the many pop/emo/folksy sounding songs. ~Emily~
