What's the hardest part about rollerblading?
Telling your freinds and parents that you are gay!

There IS nothing to get about the joke. You would expect the answer to be something like "Not falling on your ass and then saying 'I am just warming up'", but instead...
It's the funniest "short dumb joke" I have heard in awhile...it cracked me and the other 3 guys next to me up (one of them actually rollerblades heh). Then again, they are all trombone players...
I guess it would make more sense if the question was "What is the most difficult feat for a rollerblader to perform?"....
"To tell their friends and parents that they are gay"...
Get it?

It's funny among trombone players because they have the opportunity to follow it with the trombone "joke tune". See 1950s comedy for reference.

At least your second way of phrasing it made more sense as to what the joke was trying to be funny doing.... This is my favorite joke like that (highlight the black text below the question to read punchline): Why did the Monkey fall out of the tree? Because he was dead! Why did the second monkey fall out of the tree?Because he was tied to the first monkey. [glow=blue,2,300] -B[/glow]

Or maybe the first monkey was just resting?
