Hoping to be a bit more active now that there is a drive to make it more active.

Alan, your HTC-related appendix is longer than most of my posts.

You don't realise that Alan actually manually typed that appendix to show off his beautiful phone! It's what proud HTC owners do.
Not sent from Synchrotones' HTC Sensation XE, but from his Dell Dimension E520 running Windows XP.

Hmmm...just found out you can "like" individual posts when you are feeling too lazy to say anything.

Is this the 12-Step Program-like thread where you confess you haven't been much into film music lately, either because collecting gets expensive or it simply doesn't tickle your film music bone anymore? Well, I have to confess, then, that while I still love and enjoy film music regularly, I'm somewhat out of the loop on what's going on. So, yeah, my name is Hook and I have a problem.
I have no idea what's going on at Filmtracks. When Jon sent the this message, I was utterly confused and still am. Anyway, I still depend on you guys to inform me and give scores a buzz if they deserve it. Looks like fall is treating us to delightful surprises, like this Gravity film. I'll have to look into that.

Remember admitting you have a problem is the first step. So if current stuff isn't grabbing ya, are you digging into older scores or specific composers older work. I find myself doing that more and more. While I don't write off all the current stuff, I do find it less entertaining and engaging than older scores. But, yeah i hear you on the expense issue. I love that so many great older scores are being released, but picking the right one when I have enough cash is the tough part.
