Alive... I'm killing myself at work (and wondering if I should get The DEEP).
Maybe I should go to the rest room, but the nap-throne is not working.
Jooooooonnnnnnnn!

I believe I am alive. What is life, anyway? I think, therefore I am? Does that apply to plants? How about non sentient forms? Well, as far as I can observe, I am by most common definitions, alive.

"Cogito ergo sum"
Not "cogito" too much, so I don´t know if very alive.
Bendan´s "4" doesn´t prove he´s alive. It could be recorded.

I don't feel alive. I feel so screwed because I have thousands of dollars worth of medical bills, can't go back to college, and I'm working at freaking Domino's. As for not posting...sorry. It seems like this place has been slowly dying for a while now. I've tried my best to keep discussions going, but I didn't feel that anyone else was trying. It's gotten to the point where there are maybe a few threads going, but nothing I care to talk about, and the fact that I haven't bought any new film scores for a few years now means I can't really be part of ANY discussion! A sad state of affairs.

Let me rephrase that: I'm willing to try if you guys are! I miss the debates! The laughing! The crying! The mud-slinging!

Pretty much the same here. I've basically had six new scores in the last year. Just got Predator and Krull for my birthday, but for some reason really don't feel like listening to them. LOL!

Haha. Yeah I bought my first new CD last week. And it wasn't a film score. I've been buying soundtracks on vinyl, though! I got A Patch of Blue and 200 Motels, and I have my eyes on The Swarm and The Hindenburg. As for my situation, I couldn't pay my tuition, so they put a hold on my account. Then, I went into the hospital, but Ohio State froze my health insurance and wouldn't pay the bills. Now, I have a lot of crap to work off....

Don't think I would ever buy a score on vinyl to listen to, but if it had great cover art I might hang it on the wall. I thought you already graduated...is this a fifth year senior type problem? (If you don't mind me asking, LOL!). Hopefully everything works out. Sounds like quite the mess. I had a hold put on my account while in school because I owed $.10 cents so they definitely are quite persistent about "their" money. But, don't get me started about the high costs of school. It really annoys me. It's like buying a house when you are 17 and then not being guaranteed employment. A recipe for success!
