It's not World of Warcraft. It's plain ol' Warcraft. As if WoW players would leave their homes to watch a movie. Does anyone else feel this is just going to be entirely the battle scenes from Return of the King? I don't see a movie here.

I trust Raimi with this more than I do other directors.

Wait, did we just shift to a parallel universe where there is a possibility of good films being made from video game source material?

After what Sam Raimi did to the Spider-Man saga with the third, disgraceful film, I don't trust the man to adapt anything properly at this point. Besides... I also can't imagine a Warcraft film could be comprised of anything more than one gigantic battle scene after another.
I've thought the idea of making a movie out of the Warcraft saga was a bad idea from the get-go... much less any video game adaptation. Reminds me of how some fans were sad when they discovered that Paul Anderson's Castlevania adaptation would not be going forward. ...Exactly how is that a bad thing?

castlevania is now directed by the the guy who made Saw. And he discarded Andersons Script, they are going to do the whole castlevania experience, old times castle with the whip, and belomont or even alucard.

After reading this, I am far more excited about the Gears of War movie. Also, I love Gears of War, whereas I haven't given a crap about Warcraft since Blizzard canceled WarCraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans.

but its not the actual script of what maybe will be. Oh shit, you're right! I didn't read that part carefully enough. I stand by my point about Warcraft, though. Warcaft can eat shit and die for all I care.

that script sounded an aweful lot like a fanboy fantasy. no wonder it got discarded. i would love to see it as its on the pages, but that will never happen.superman lives returns.
