I'm not sure if the first batch of economic stimulus checks stimulated the economy enough, but maybe the second, or third, or fourth round of checks will do the trick. ;D Anyway, how will the $787 billion stimulus package affect you? www.usatoday.com/money/economy/2009-02-12-stimulus-package-effects_N.htm?loc=interstitialskipAny plans for this year's tax credits? Is your tax credit going toward consumer spending, or is doing something else, like collecting dust in a bank? ;D

This time it's being split up into several paychecks, so you can't exactly go on a spree.

I'll use it to wipe the tears off of the faces of future generations.

Mike, you made me laugh I read the article, but don't get it. Am I going to get $800 extra when I get my tax return, or is the government going to stop taking as much from me each paycheck?

The Second Great Depression is inevitable. On the plus side, it's about time the world got depressed enough about as much as I am about it.

Tax Less. Spend More. It brings a tear to my eye... I read the article, but don't get it. Am I going to get $800 extra when I get my tax return, or is the government going to stop taking as much from me each paycheck? Basically, it's what Cheno said. What is this economic stimulus tax credit of which you speak? I'm certainly not getting one.
I get to deduct the sales tax of my new car, but tax credits? Pffft.
