Could somebody who owns the DVD (or has rented it) please tell me whether the [glow=red,2,300]UK 3-disc "Director's Cut"[/glow] edition does indeed feature the [glow=red,2,300]"From the Den"[/glow] section? (This, or the German edition) I'd like to buy it, but only if I get the edition with this extra feature, which includes an animated adaptation of "The Tell-Tale Heart"; I have never seen it, but am very interested in it, as an American Literature scholar; one of my fields of interest is precisely the adaptation of literary works into other media-- music, theater, cinema, comics. Since the DVD's release, I have been trying to find out whether the French of British or German editions do feature this "From the Den" section, but have never been able to get reliable information so far. Some review/comparison sites say the contents are the same as the US R1 (which I couldn't play because of the RCE encryption-- I'm not sure my new DVD recorder could), but then don't list it in the features. I hope someone here does own this R2 3-disc edition and can finally tell me.

I notice from reviews that this feature should be on Disc 1.
I've had a look through all 3 DVDs of my R2 version of the "Director's Cut" and I can find no obvious reference to the "From The Den" section.

Oh darn, that's what I feared. ( Or maybe it's a hidden feature. ) The problem with the R1 is the RCE protection; my Toshiba player can't bypass it; I'm not sure the new Sony DVD recorder can, and it's too expensive to try. Thanks for checking!
