Lou Dobbs is silly. He thinks of himself as the next Edward R. Murrow, but he comes off a bit more like Kent Brockman.

I think he has the whitest teeth on television. They have, have to be implants. His entire mouth is full of fake denture. Must have had periodontal disease, which he probably contracted from drinking soiled water from Mexico. ;D Seriously, though, I think the likes of Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and specially Ann Coulter are certifiably ICD-9 301.81, and Dobbs borders (get the pun?) on it, but I don't get that impression from him as being impossible to deal with. Annoying? Yes. Oh, hell yes. Lou Dobbs is silly. He thinks of himself as the next Edward R. Murrow, but he comes off a bit more like Kent Brockman That would be Keith Olbermann.

Well, yeah, Olbermann too. Though Olbermann tends to remind me a bit more of the guy in "V for Vendetta".

I do like how he covers stories that other media outlets don't. But yeah, he gets to be a bit much.

He thinks of himself as the next Edward R. Murrow. I know this has already been mentioned, but the only person I can think of who actually thinks of himself as Edward R. Murrow's successor would be the confoundingly moronic Keith Olbermann. Seriously, though, I think the likes of Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and specially Ann Coulter are certifiably ICD-9 301.81 O'Reilly/Coulter? Yes (though I find O'Reilly's brand of narcissism to be amusing). Hannity/Dobbs? Sort of. Matthews/Olbermann? Their love of self is painfully awkward to watch; Olbermann makes the aforementioned look completely selfless by comparison.

though I find O'Reilly's brand of narcissism to be amusing Hahaha, I know! Lately I've been trying to see how long he can go without mentioning himself. He spent almost 3 months during the campaign talking about how Obama hadn't come in for an interview with him yet. You gotta love a guy who is so unashamedly focused on his own show. ;D -Brendan p.s. I've never heard/seen Lou Dobbs...

To me, no. Disgusting? Yes. We're talking about a guy who brings in "body language experts" to his own show to discuss his appearances on other shows where he goes on to sell his books. And in one of those books a TV reporter goes on a murderous rampage against his former employees. WTF??? His teeth are very white.

Hahaha, I know! Lately I've been trying to see how long he can go without mentioning himself. So, why don't you go to his website, BillOReilley.com, and check out his latest column, and don't forgot about Bill O' Reilley's latest book, and his t-shirt's and his... ;D All you need to know is that Lou Dobbs is known for one thing - his Hispanic (Mexican) wife! -CG
