I tried registering with 'Thorpe' but it displays me as 'thorpe' (no capital T). I prefer a capital but it just put it to lower-case. I notice some members do have a capital in their username but not for me. Is this actually possible to do anymore?

You have to go to the "Modify Profile" thing and put the capital letter into the "Display Name." Usernames can't have capitals.

Even though my name displays with the appropriate capital letters, when I log-in I have to input my username as 'michaelarlidge'. I couldn't be stuffed letting it bother me, but it is something I need to remember when I'm logging-in here, as opposed to other sites where I can just input my name in the proper format.

That's the beauty of single-word usernames
