Is that what Kirk's going to wear throughout this movie? SERIOUSLY?
Yeah, these shots look pretty godawful.

The problem I have with these shots is that everyone looks TOO YOUNG. The OC in space. It reminds me of that 1980's made for TV movie where Earth is dying a bunch of teenagers have blast off into space to find a suitable replacement planet to colonize. I think it was called Earth Star Voyager.
BTW, I don't remember the Enterprise bridge looking so "modern" in the TV series.

I found Ricardo Montalban's substitute: Star Trek is brought to you by Lancome

Curse you, Abrams! What did you do to the Enterprise bridge?! That is the gaudiest thing I've ever seen, particularly for a Star Trek ship bridge, not to mention nowhere close to resembling the original series' look. My hopes for this movie being at least decent have just been shot.
At least we can look forward to great things from Giacchino!

Eeesh. Some of those pictures made me throw up in my mouth, just a little bit. And I'm not even a huge "Star Trek" fan.
Back at ya later

Looks like the type of movie that would inspire Ramin Djwadi. So this is basically one of those movies about a movie? (Is it going to be a mockumentary?). They got "actors" to play other real life actors. If they are going to "reboot" Star Trek why not actually come up with something original.

So this is basically one of those movies about a movie? (Is it going to be a mockumentary?). No, it's fanfic taken to the extreme. I wouldn't be surprised if Spock went all Pon farr about Kirk on this one. Which, of course, raises the question, will Giacchino name the track "**ck Time"? I'm not terribly excited about the score, either. While his scores for Abrams' stuff are always great, they don't have much replay value. Don't get me wrong, the man does miracles with all the meh and the blah playing on screen.

At least we can look forward to great things from Giacchino! All I'll be doing is mourn the loss of Goldsmith... I still haven't got over it

Anyone who had hope for this was living in a neverland. I don't know man... it seemed like a dream come true back when it was first announced. I just really, really don't like the direction they've taken this, stylistically. But who knows?
