It's not exactly the best policy to tell the person you want to purchase something from how much they will charge for it.
...Just sayin'.

That is dirt cheap to say the least. Rather cheeky actually.I also don't understand that comment, either... Are you saying USD 5.00 is cheap and USD 5000 is expensive? Ahahah Oh no, you were saying USD 5.00 is GBP 2.80... I can add that it's also EUR 3.70 ;D Common'! I have over 4000 soundtracks on CD and I was only trying to fulfill my James Newton Howard collection, by trying to find them cheap. Please keep your lame comments for you Thanks

Please keep your lame comments for you You ought to get to know a person before you start taking on that sort of attitude. Might I ask, are you expecting the postage to be included in your $5. It would have been more reasonable and polite to state your interest in collecting said CDs and then ASK how much a person is prepared to sell them to you for. That is why I think you have a bit of a cheek - confirmed by your recent two replies. If you cannot understand perfectly clear English, then you'd be best advised to spend your money on a better education... and $5 won't do for that either ;D The puzzling thing is, why aren't you offering to trade for these like you have done elsewhere on the forum? PS... My wife comes from Switzerland. It is a beautiful country.

You ought to get to know a person before you start taking on that sort of attitude.Sure, you're right! Sorry if I sounded rude... Might I ask, are you expecting the postage to be included in your $5.No. I must looking to get them for a cheap price and would for sure pay the postage (that is normal) It would have been more reasonable and polite to state your interest in collecting said CDs and then ASK how much a person is prepared to sell them to you for. That is why I think you have a bit of a cheek - confirmed by your recent two replies.Yes, I really didn't mean to sound that "common' I'm here to buy your CDs for 5 bucks!"... really! So, I totally understand you. The thing is only that I have sooo many CDs that paying 10 bucks for a CD that I can buy new for 14.95 isn't really in my interests... that's why I was asking if someone had them for like 5 bucks, so it would help me to build my James Newton Howard collection for a pretty cheap I know 5 bucks is really cheap, so is 10 bucks for a CD, but I buy so many CDs that I was only trying to find the best deal! If you cannot understand perfectly clear English, then you'd be best advised to spend your money on a better education... and $5 won't do for that eitherLol. Believe me I do understand english (I spent a year in Florida)... I think my education is quite good, but I do agree my replies sounded a bit "rough", so please excuse me for that. The puzzling thing is, why aren't you offering to trade for these like you have done elsewhere on the forum?Yes, I could but I see no one ever replies when proposing deals, so I only though people prefer to do sales than trades. I guess I'm wrong... Anyway, I do have lots of CDs for trades, if that interest you or someone else here! PS... My wife comes from Switzerland. It is a beautiful country.Excellent! Where does she come from? I'm from Geneva! Well, thanks for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it and again, sorry for my "bad attitude" ;D Cheers!

Sure, you're right! Sorry if I sounded rude... Appology greatfully accepted. Nice one Nekromantik. Really really good reply ;D The puzzling thing is, why aren't you offering to trade for these like you have done elsewhere on the forum?Yes, I could but I see no one ever replies when proposing deals, so I only though people prefer to do sales than trades. I guess I'm wrong... Anyway, I do have lots of CDs for trades, if that interest you or someone else here! I tend to neither trade nor sell. I buy CDs to examine the music and hear how it works and how all the instruments come together. I'm a bit of a composer myself and have scored many micro-budget shorts and successfully scored two micro-budget features... don't worry very few people have even seen any of them... the curse of micro-budget ;D Perhaps it may have been best to offer to buy OR trade without stating a price and then entering into discussion with a person who showed interest to see what was what. That would have probably come across better. But then I'm a right one for suggesting how somebody should come across... since I'm Autistic and am always coming across in a way I don't intend. PS... My wife comes from Switzerland. It is a beautiful country.Excellent! Where does she come from? I'm from Geneva! My wife came from an area near Bern and near the lake of Thun ;D When we had our marriage celebration in Switzerland, we had our reception on a boat which went around the lake of Thun... it was beautiful ;D We've been happily married for 20 years now ;D As for any 'bad attitude' or apparent 'bad attitute'... you've shown a really great attitude in this new post and as far as I am concerned the slate has more than been wiped clean... it been wiped clean and a big plus mark added ;D I really hope you get some favourable response to increasing the JNH collection. He is a brilliant composer. I have a few of his CDs... I have 'Lady in the Water' and 'The Village' among those you listed... but unfortunately, even though I'm mainly a collector of Herrmann and Goldsmith, I wish to keep them... sorry. I wish I had some spare copies. If you check my MySpace page and like what you hear... I don't mind sending you a CD of my work if you'd like (no cost, not even postage). Just CD-R since I've had no soundtrack produced professionally... but if you'd like it... ;D (Don't feel you have to accept... only if you'd like it).
