So, Islam is growing. ;D Okay, maybe that was a bad joke- a bad attempt to answer your question. So, these beheadings were blamed on loud music, jealousy, and domestic violence? But there's still the internet. -CG

Come to think of it, the single most logical explanation for all this is highlanders. Think about it. The quickening is at hand!

What's news is the reaction of the bus passengers in the Canadian one and the actions of the news media. The passengers on the bus just allowed this guy to murder that guy. They had plenty of time to subdue him being he stabbed the guy 50 times. That would give you plenty of time to tackle the attacker. With almost 40 other people on the bus he's not going to kill all of them. Then some of the passengers armed themselves after they ran off of the bus to protect THEMSELVES not rescue the guy actually being attacked. Lame.
And the stupid news media's shocking behavior in all of this: you know they won't follow up on these stories. We'll never know what the hell happened, etc. You'll only know if you live in the area where it happened, but these stories made international news just because the way someone was killed. The media doesn't care about the people killed, etc. they just want a sensational story and they won't tell us what happened. We will hear zero about this after this week. Meh.

Good thing I'm getting my license to carry next week. I fear for my life. You've played Grand Theft Auto.

The mother who committed suicide by plowing her car into a lake, but all three of her young kids were still in the car.
The guy who knifed his friend to death because of a Yatzee game.
An episode of "COPS" where the police go to an apartment and find a young kid, maybe about 3, outside and crying. They eventually get in and find the fat mother passed out on the bedm while her second kid wondered around. The first kid got outside and accidently locked it'self out, the one inside got into the alcohol and nearly killed himself with alcohol poisoning.
All things that I never saw never followed up on. In fact, the only news story I recall recently that didn't involve a celebrity being killed followed up on, was a girl at a theme park (I think Six Flags) that had her feet ambutated by a ride, because of a malfunction. Because of how "sensationalized" it became, it was followed up.

Of all four of those stories, I think the Six Flags one is the only one that really needs to be followed up on. The other three don't really affect anybody else, so I really don't see it as important news. But thousands of people go to Six Flags every day, so it definitely does affect others.

If it had been some no-name theme park in the middle of a boring state, like Ohio, it wouldn't even have made the national news. As you can see by this page: www.rideaccidents.com/2007.htmlTons of amusement parks accidents occured in last year, but I don't recall seeing any make the national news. We know theme park accidents occur, but I think responsibility of mothers and their kids (and alcohol abuse) is more important, and showing how a game can get out of hand and that killing someone over it, isn't needed. I recall three games ending in death the passed couple years; it actually occurs that often.

I came across this when trying to download a file off rapidshare. It may not be as bad as psychopathy, but damn, epic fail, man:
