First, I want to say that I didn't read any critical reviews or go to IMDB before renting this movie. Also, I do know that someone (maybe me)? already had a thread about this and it's trailer, but I don't think there has been one since people have actually watched it. So, I apologize in case Jens complains about this being "old". I also offer my condolences to those who actually paid money to see it in theater (and who might have started a thread about it earlier).
Of course, the movie is horrible. However, the first 10 minutes or so, it kind of felt "epic" and I thought that Uwe Boll might finally make a decent movie. When the first fight scenes with those monsters that look like they were costumed from a high school play came up, I knew after that it was going to be awful, and it was. Ray Liotta's and Burt Reynold's character were hilarious. It seems like they knew the movie was one big joke. The special effects were horrible, on par with "A Sound of Thunder".
The only reviving aspect was Jason Statham, who actually seemed to take it seriously, and who alone is probably responsible for this movie's higher rating on IMDB (as compared to his other video game movies). If only a good director would have taken this movie on, Statham could have really carried it. I also thought the score was pretty good, though a generic fantasy sounding score. I especially like the music where we are first introduced to "Farmer".

My favorite scene is when ninjas appear out of nowhere during the battle, then are not seen or heard or again until ten minutes later when they suddenly start fighting out in the open and in formation. Then, after another ten minutes of battle and being certain the ninjas are on the side of Ray Liotta's evil army, we see them inexplicably attacking his men.
Not only do these ninjas come out of nowhere, don't fight anything like ninjas should and in a TOTALLY DIFFERENT BATTLE than our protagonists, it's not even clear what side they're on.
Oh, and also: ZOMG LOLERZ I already knew all that ur so stupid OLD!!

looks like you´re not paying enough attention.they´re clearly mentioned as royal guards or something. Maybe I was too distracted by the fact that during the pre-battle speeches, none of the characters talking to each other even seemed to be in the same general area.

She and Uwe were dating. Shortly after, it seems she turned lesbian.
