I just received for review Mark Twain films by William Perry on the Naxos label (#8.570200). These were written between the years 1980-85 and cover 6 of his stories. He of course joins the ranks of Rosenthal, Moross, Steiner, and Conti as interpretors of Twain material but on the Naxos Film Music Classic label this is a good value in the $7.00 range.
I also had an email conversation with William and found out that another composition he wrote Six Title Themes In Search of a Movie (material he wrote for silent films) will likely be released next year on the Naxos label also.
