I was listening to the theme from silva which is kind of cool and I realized that I don't seem to have the original ST recording of this score....was there one ever released? Was it one of those songtracks with a few score tracks? Any 'unmentionables' ?

I picked it up discounted back in the days. Never thought it would be rare one day...

The score album has a little over 30 minutes of score, plus some songs. It could really use an expansion and remastering. It's Arista though so that's unlikely except if maybe Intrada can go to the trouble as they were surprisingly able to do for The Wind and the Lion.

Amen to that.
I am vaguely aware of some "private" release of The Shadow floating around, but the OST is enough for me.
Great score.

the expanded boot is a fake; it cointains some DVD ripped cues and where the FX was too heavy, part from cues on the OST were edited in that sounded similar. It's a nicely done HACK JOB.
And hte slightly more expanded one is the same thing with some songs added.
I can get the pressed CD for about $8 but I skip over it.
