Hi there, I´m trying to find someone who has an original copy of the following scores and is willing to trade for them. If they were in mint or near mint condition (with little to no scratches on it), would be great. Bernstein - The great escape (varese club 2CD) Delerue - Joe versus the volcano (varese club) Goldsmith - The sand pebbles (varese club) Goldsmith - Chinatown (varese) The CDs I have to offer for the trade are: - The Ghost and the Darkness (Jerry Goldsmith. Sealed - Never opened) - Dangerous liaisons (George Fenton. Sealed - Never opened) - Lonesome Dove - expanded. (Basil Poledouris. Sealed - Never opened) - Esther Kahn (Howard Shore. Used. Perfect condition. Almost unplayed). I could also get (I know where to find them, and new): - The french Connection 1&2 (Don Ellis) - Chicken Run (John Powell & Harry Gregson-Williams) The conditions of the trade are to be decided. That means that I don´t want the 4 scores for all the CDs I have to offer. I mean that if someone has one of the scores I want and is interested on anything I have, I´m open to get a fair trade for both of us Feel free to e-mail me at: jorge_mang@yahoo.es If any suggestions, feel free to add it in this thread as well

Chinatown tends to go for a small fortune. Not sure why that sucker went out of print. Wish it would be released again.

Wish it would be released again. Yep, the same here. Probably I could find them in Ebay, but I have this feeling of being "cheated" if I pay the price they ask for them. So, if I manage to find some other "extrange" soundtracks and people want to trade for them, that would be perfect. The other option is starting to sell "rare" soundtracks I find/have on Ebay as well, but I don´t want to contribute to a situation I don´t like. Oh, well...

If I were you, I'd hold on to them. I've sold a few RARE cd's and ended up regretting it. If for no other reason, because if I held on to them fro longer, they only seem to go up in value (unless someone reissues one of them). Of course, if I didn't sell certain titles I probably never would have been able to afford other stuff..so I guess it all works out in the end.

If only you had posted this thread two or so weeks ago; I traded away my pressed "The Sand Pebbles" VSC.

If I had known, I would have posted before. What are you interested in from my list?
