Wow, Georges Delerue wrote a piece for trombone choir? I would like to hear that...I always think of lush strings when I think of Delerue. -Brendan

He also wrote a concerto for horn and orchestra. But of course - like all "film music composers" - when it comes to concert music they cast aside all tunes, melody and... ehm... beauty... and go for modern stuff. So Delerue's horn concerto is certainly far from sounding like crap, but don't expect anything similar to his film scores. I don't know about the trombone piece Carlton found. Unfortunately there are no sound clips.

I'll have to see if my trombone teacher will let me borrow this one. Maybe he has it. Then again, since it has Ewazen on it, maybe not ;(
