I just have to say that this may be one of the greatest pieces of music ever composed. It is perfect. Everytime I listen to it I get goosebumps.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with this one. I tried to look it up but discovered that there are tons of choral pieces with this name written by different authors. Who wrote this one? What about it do you like the most?

It is by Morten Lauridson.
This piece, either by choir or by full symphony (I am partial to the orchestral versions rather than the choir, which are still amazing) is just so powerful. It is a rather simple melody and theme, but it is....I just can't explain it.
Listen to it and you should understand.

Tomas Luis ve Victoria also wrote a great one about 500 years ago. the Lauridsen piece is outstanding and I have it on CD:

An amazing CD indeed JJ. I would highly recommed that disc to fans of "O Magnum Mysterium" and other blissfully beautiful choral music. I use this CD often in my CD player alarm clock to gracefully wake me up in the morning.
