Sure, one can applaud Stone for his conviction, but I think he handled the homosexual angle of the story very, very poorly. I love Michael Atkinson's take on the matter:
Anywho, I'm afraid I have hijacked my own thread. If anyone wants to discuss Alexander further, I suggest we start a new thread.

3. Dodgeball: a True Underdog Story You know, I almost mentioned this film as being one of my favourites of the year, but thought I would get leapt on and accused of being lowbrow I haven't laughed as much during a film as I did in Dodgeball for a long, long time. It's immature, puerile comedy of the lowest form, but seriously? Who doesn't find people getting hit in the heads by huge rubber balls and Christina Applegate beating up Ben Stiller funny?? Great score, too. Theodore Shapiro again. Shame its unreleased.

Good to see that someone else loved Dodgeball. Minor correction: that was Christine Taylor (Mrs. Ben Stiller) in the film.
I'm in full agreement with you on Theodore Shapiro's score. I read somewhere that this is the first one where he used an orchestra. Very nice.
