I've already mentioned 'A Sound of Thunder' in this 'General Discussion' thread, before Peter created this forum, but I thought it would be worth discussing further. I mean, seriously, an entire movie based on the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror segment "Time and Punishment"? I don't see how it could possibly loose! Also, it appears that when they change the past all of the buildings and civilization stay intact... but evolution is altered so radically that there are giant man-eating bats everywhere. So all of man's history stayed exactly the same despite the ecosystem being completely different... Yep! Makes perfect sense to me! Of course, It'd be hilarious to see flashbacks of how the altered ecosystem actually affects crucial moments in history. Hence, I like this movie already, although in my mind it consists of: -Kerry losing the recent elections to an intelligent slug. -Ghandi using dragons to take over India. -Amy's 'Humour' section being a hilarious satire of our reptillian overlords. Questions? Comments? Insults?

Kerry DID loose the recent election to an intelligent slug. No wait ... he wasn't intelligent, right. Did you actually see the trailer to the film? Looks horrible. If it WERE based on the Treehouse of Horror episode, I'd be there on opening day, no doubt ... but unfortunately it's not.

Did you actually see the trailer to the film? Yeah. It's the Halo dinosaur movie, right? I don't see how it can possibly loose. If it WERE based on the Treehouse of Horror episode, I'd be there on opening day, no doubt ... but unfortunately it's not. Initially I thought it was based on a Ray Bradbury story that was like 4 pages long and about the "butterfly effect", but then I realized there was already a movie about that. It was called, oh, THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT![/i][/size]
