OK, so I have listened to most of James Hannigan's scores to the Harry Potter video games and each time I listen to them, I think they get better and better. I just turned on his score to "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and holy crap, I don't remember it being this glorious the last time I listened to it. Maybe i wasn't in the right state of mind before, but this score is remarkable. In fact, I really am finding his scores to be the top tier of Potter scores; and right now, 'Half-Blood Prince' might just be the top of the top.

I hear you! I demand a box set from this guy! This may indeed be his best effort. We MUST have more! ;D
All the Best!

His work is really excellent. I haven't heard his "Deathly Hallows" scores yet, but I'm very curious to hear what he came up with. His scores for OOTP and THBP are both better than the film scores (in my opinion). As for favorite Potter score... it's a tie between "Prisoner of Azkaban" and "Goblet of Fire". Every time I listen to Doyle's score I enjoy it a little more.

That "Dumbledore vs Voldemort" track from Order of the Phoenix, where Hannigan used Hedwig's Theme as an action motif, knocked my socks off.

Sounds like I should seek these out - but they don't appear to be available anywhere. Have they actually received commercial releases?

Count me in as one who would welcome releases of Hannigan's Harry Potter scores. Really a shame that these works aren't widely available especially considering their quality. Until then Hannigan has made two and a half hours of his Harry Potter music available on his Soundcloud: soundcloud.com/jameshannigan/sets/harry-potter-compilation.
