Hey, if I'm in L.A. at the time I'll be there. I'm just not sure if I'll still be here though.

It's possible. No real plans yet but this concert is quite a ways away. Don't want to say more for now.

Because our government thinks he's not going to go back home... Exactly. The U.S., without any intent from my part to pass judgment on the whole nation, does discriminate by region. Of course, a Canadian passport would suffice for a weekend run through the country. Where I am, currently, because of the influx of Mexicans, Guatemalans and whatever else into your country, which I keep saying is the fault of their own governments, I'm asked to prove more than, say, an EU citizen, but less than a Pakistani... I hope. If you really had the money AND the power, it wouldn't be up to the US Embassy That's why I held back from saying it (but how does he know I was... oh, wait, I'm writing my thoughts on parentheses again, oh sh...). Right off the bat, I can think of a few things that don't constitute lying. Getting on the payroll at my current job (it's sort of an assistant/intern kind of thing; a deal I struck with my employer, who's a friend of mine) and, because I'm planning on buying a condo apartment, getting tied up in that business deal might help, as would transferring large sums of money into my bank account for the time being. But first things first: I've gotta update my passport. It's been a million years since I left this country (though I feel a million years young). Then I'll talk to the U.S. embassy (each visit costs me $100 by the way, nonrefundable, those jerks). Hell, I'd marry John Williams.

So... I've been mentioning this concert to my husband here and there, and yesterday he actually started a sentence with, "When we go to LA...." So maybe we will end up going!

Cool. Clark, have you started doing this yet? ;D -CG Man, I would love nothing better than to get out to L.A. Alas, work and finances are keeping me from it at the moment. Maybe if someone offers to pay double for every CD I'm selling... Back at ya later

Would I spoil the October party if I showed up with AJT?

Don't flatter yourself. One of us would knock you out cold and leave you somewhere in South Central LA.
And you're still not funny.

I just saw this thread. If a trip to LA for this concert is in the works, I'm most definitely interested! October would be awesome.
