Call of Duty wasn't really a promo. It was a OST, just limited. Compare to Varese's Club Releases.
As for Rising Sun, I'm quite certain you can get it on ITunes.

You can get original promo/bootlegs for 30 bucks (cheaper than twice that much on ebay) at majestyx.com/discsale.html Also, I THINK some people here are freindly enough to trade cdrs or send you cdr's of some non-commercial releases. If you wish to pm me, I can tell you what I do to get a ton of non-commerical stuff.

You could simply ask here. All people on this forum put together should result in an immense collection.

After spending 10 minutes on my 2 sentences I decided to not make such a claim, even though I was very tempted from the beginning. Let's say, almost everything, and that which we don't have can be organized in little time.
That reminds me - before anybody pays somebody 30 bucks for a bootleg, either copy or "original", please do ask here. I gladly copy some stuff and send it. Let's keep this bootleg thing a matter of the lovers and collectors, and not of profiteers.

what would you say are some absolute must-have bootleg or promo scores (either because they have never been regularly released or because the music left off the commercial album is just that good)? I'd add Rozsa's Thief of Baghdad (Soundtrack Library)score onto the list of "must-have officially unreleased music." Well, unfortunately I do not have really any of the previously listed music in this thread (not sure how you guys get this stuff but I am definitely jealous). There's nothing to be jealous of. Just consider yourself lucky that you didn't have to pay for a boot... Anyhow. I have no clue where to get bootlegs and I don't want to find out either. Well I'm kind of clueless by the initial source of bootlegs too. I know some stores hawk them and some scrupulous sellers on Ebay do the same thing. You can also get some from Amazon via their marketplace sellers. I've spotted some Tsunami bootlegs at amazon.com. But I still don't how stores or people get copies of certain boot-legged materials. -CG PS: I agree with Armin Boots should cost a certian price or no price at all...

It's possible musicko over at the FSM board will have more luck inquiring about a release this time than he did 10-15 years ago when he'd have had to pay an advance on 50,000 copies (no way it'd sell that). Besides, the *lp* set that's based on wasn't quite complete and the eventual CD album might possibly be -- there are a few other sources. Oh, and sound and presentation would probably be better. I enjoy Chris Young's The Core. So I'd vote to keep it on the "must" list. Being a Goldsmith fan, I find it hard to imagine living without any of the Goldsmith unreleased versions I have and I'll probably feel the same about the ones I don't own... just as soon as I get 'em. Did nobody mention Executive Decision? Bags of fun. Don't know how I lived without it.
Is there a complete Clear and Present Danger? Maybe not the absolute top of my list of great scores but another example of an inadequate commercial release.
