This is a very effective atmospheric score from Young. But, then he's very good at this sort of thing.
In hindsight, maybe not worth the $25 I paid for it.

You know, this is one of the few Chris Young scores I don't have. I remember reading Clemmensen's short review of it many years ago, and then someone reviewed it at MftM recently. Never actually seen a copy to pick it up, and to be honest its never been that high on my want-list. Knowing that I generally like everything Young has done to date, would you recommend it?

...would you recommend it? I'd be a bit biased in that I am quite a fan of Young's dark, atmospheric scores so I would obviously say "yes." But, it's a score I have only recently acquired and I need to listen to it a few more times to know if it is one of the best, with enough originality to suggest that by passing on this one, you'd be missing out. Does that help?
