In answer to Brendan's question: yes, the BBC is entirely funded by money raised from the TV License, which every household who uses a working TV must pay (because every TV in the country is capable of receiving BBC1 and BBC2 free-to-air - at least that was the case when I left). The fee goes to the Government, and then it is distributed to the BBC them to fund all its programming.
The balance of this is that there is no commercial advertising whatsoever on the BBC. No commercial breaks during or in between shows.
I honestly don't know what the deal is with the HD channels and whatnot, because they all started appearing after I left.

Hook here, The "I Am Dense" Tribune... That's why here in Georgia, we call it "Disgusta." I don't get it. Check this one out, the tiny resolution doesn't make it justice: Description: An evolving painting created by four artists working simultaneously on the same digital canvas. The painting process was unplanned and free form. The artists took cues from each others actions and interpretation of various shapes/colors. www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqD_3KWpsTY

Was watching some of the past torch-lighting ceremonies from Olympics and was amazed at the crazy dissonance of the music at Lillehammer in '92:
As one YouTube commenter said, you half expect a woman to start screaming bloody murder during some parts of it. ;D

Now, I enjoy a good satire no matter who the target is. I have to say, being an unabashed Tim Burton fan, I will love it when someone comes up with a decent Burton satire. This, unfortunately, wasn't it. It was forced, obvious, predictable and altogether a missed opportunity laden with poor taste. A rare miss from College Humor.

Old, I know, but this deserves to be here simply because of how cool and on-topic it is:
Wonder whose idea it was.

I've never tried ChatRoulette, but if I did, it would have to be in an awesome way like this:
