Alan Fivehouse is the career-defining role Michael Lonsdale took on in five - or maybe six - franchise films. Max Bellochio over at FSM is a Lonsdale/Fivehouse/Loftybeck devotee. (Loftybeck was the author of the pulp source of the first two films.)

Sorry to bump this thread up again, but is Alan Fivehouse just someone the guys at FSM made up? Wikipedia makes no mention of him, and the only Alan Fivehouse pages I could find when I googled it were -- you guessed it -- the FSM board posts.
Who or what is Alan Fivehouse? And why?

It's an extremely elaborate in-joke perpetrated by Max Bellocchio over at FSM. He invented this character and his creator (apparently based on someone he went to school with) and is perpertuting the myth that the actor Michael Lonsdale played him in a series of movies in the 1960s and 70s. I think he's conducting some kind of experiment to see whether, if enough people think something is true and don't check their facts, it becomes common knowledge. Apparently 'Fivehouse' has started appearing in bios and filmogs for Lonsdale at various different places.
