Hello everyone, After many years of a rather stagnant and out of date site design, plus various technological and security-related issues over the past six months, I have decided to bite the bullet and launch a site upgrade, with a new look, and new features intended to make the site more interactive and modern. The review content and composer biography archive will remain the same (as, hopefully, will the quality of writing!), but in addition to these classic elements the site now has an RSS feed, is set up to allow instant feedback from readers through direct comment areas on each review, and is plugged in to Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Digg, and various other social media outlets to allow easy link sharing. Over the coming months I will be working on new reviews and content while moving over and converting all the existing reviews and composer biographies to the new style. Currently the majority of the historical reviews and composer bios are unavailable, but this will gradually change over time. I hope you like the all-new MMUK. Comments and questions are always welcome, of course! Visit at www.moviemusicuk.usJon!

Just a brief update (if anyone's interested) - I have now converted 432 reviews over into the new format, all the way back to January of 2007 (and a few from before then), meaning that all of the last four years worth of reviews are now live!
I'm continuing to work on the site, and my intention to have the entire site converted over by New Year is still on schedule!

What the hell, I take a little break and find out the main site looks wonderful and is better than ever (the board still kinda reminds me of the SMBS overworld), with amazing coverage (the flag kinda hurts the design, though, but whatever), and tons of reviews which make me wish I were able to spend silly in this hobby of ours. I've also been banned from Filmtracks, for some reason. That came out of the blue. I e-mailed Clem to no avail. Oh, well. I am also miffed by "Academy Award Winner Trent Reznor". I wanted Powell to win and thought all along that Desplat had been nominated for the wrong score (should've been The Ghost Writer, superb nod to Hitchcok there), but I see the internet hatred for Zimmer continues with Inception not even getting a mention from your 2010 wrap-up. I have my reasons to really like and admire the score, but I've got backup, so I don't mind. To sum up: keep up the good work!

Jon - Do you have any idea when the entire site will be converted over?

;D Well, a most welcome resurrection Jon! Clearly the barbarians have breached the gates at Filmtracks. I welcome intelligent discourse free of the distractions.
Thank you for all you do.
All the best!

Looks like ProBoards has changed a few things... takes a bit getting used to. :/

Yep, I had nothing to do with that - it was done automatically by ProBoards.

It has been so long since I participated in this forum that I have forgotten how it used to look!
