Well...I ended up with just some Clos du Bois Chardonnay. I'd really enjoyed some of the 2004 vintage recently. This bottle was a 2005 and I didn't think it was as good. Got together with some friends, and we had fun, but they didn't drink or stay *too* long because of heavy classes and assignments due tomorrow.
Thanks again!

Happy Birthday Brendan Anderson and cuteadeline. Could they be the same person? Maybe I could get away with posting one cake (in Chinese). ;D

Thanks Carlton...the cake is perfect! (although it's a little odd that it's on a rolling transport cart...just how far do they have to transport that thing?) -Brendan, feeling older

Happy Birthday Brendan!
And thanks for my birthday package, Carlton. I'm going to listen to Diary of Anne Frank soon, but I want to watch the film first (the LA Library has it).

I'm going to listen to Diary of Anne Frank soon, but I want to watch the film first (the LA Library has it). Is the film any good? For some reason, I get the impression that it's not. I actually am finding that more and more, I want to listen to the score before seeing the film. -CG PS: Hook that's not a bad idea, deep-fried birthday cakes. Yummy

Well, I think it's at least pretty good, because it has a 7.6 on IMDb: imdb.com/title/tt0052738/It was nominated for eight Oscars (including Newman's score) and won three (including Best Supporting Actress for Shelley Winters). But I don't actually know if it's good because I haven't watched it yet. Looks like a quality DVD release though... Yavar
