I hate to put a dent in your perception of me, TJ, but I actually sold the rest of the CD's I was going to offer as freebies. I needed the money. nothing to be ashamed of michael. I've sold many a CD over the years.

Hey TJ, got the CD today. I really like several of the tracks. It's kind of weird to hear all orchestra versions of Gladiator and Pearl Harbor. Gladiator suffers more from it. It sounds very weak. I loved the love theme from Star Wars 2, though. Thanks again!

The love theme from SW:AOTC is nice, but Kunzel's performance gets topped by Silva's excellent recording of the love theme.... -CG

TJ - speaking of fast, the Jumper CD was in my mailbox when I got home! Not sure if it got here today or yesterday, but either way, that's a fast trip from CA! I'll give it a listen tomorrow. Thanks a bunch!

I listened to Jumper 2.3(ish) times so far. Although I like the style quite a bit, the cues tend to be only a minute or less - no time for any musical development. I almost feel like I'm listening to a demo CD. Is this typical of John Powell, or do the cues tend to be longer and more developed in his other scores?

not a huge powell fan. maybe a thread in the film music sub forum would get more attention. I liked the national-treasure like theme with the piano. thats about it.
