Millinery. A place which sells hats is called a millinery. I don't know what troubles me more: the fact that you've got such places. Or the fact that you've got a name for them. pete, paraphrasing Broken Arrow.

Could you recommend a good one when we're in London? Pretty much anywhere in Mayfair/Bond Street/Piccadilly area... anywhere west of Regent Street. Depends how much you want to spend. Are you serious, btw?

I am absolutely serious. I'm looking for some nice hats (dark brown and/or black) to go with my suits. Haven't been able to find anything I like in Atlanta, and I know you Brits are big on hats -- after all, I saw the royal wedding. Everyone was wearing 'em. -- Monty Python and the Meaning of Life

You folks may wanna read this... www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=19967It tells what will happen when Star Wars officially opens in the UK, with major events taking place in London on the 16th of may, including: "special free performances of unforgettable Star Wars music presented by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra". I kid you not. Loads of celebrities will show up, I wonder of Williams could be among 'm, perhaps even conducting the RPO. Unfortunately, the article doesn't say. pete.

So Pete, are you coming to our little get-together? As far as I know, the only definite gatherers are Jon, Jens, me, and our guests.
