Actually this is my N.1 movie 2008 in expectactions. Its an over 4 hour historical battle epic about the romance of the three kingdoms, which most of you will know as background of the Dynasty Warriors Games. But this is about the real story, an stellar cast, gorgoeos visuals and the highest budget ever for an asian film included.trailer is sweet: youtube.com/watch?v=vFi4Uz5oojg

Woo hasn't made a good movie in ages, but he does seem to thrive when he's not working in Hollywood. I'll give this a chance.

I don't care that it's set thousand(s) of years ago. There HAS to be some guy with two guns in it at one point!

A brand new 8min Promo from Cannes is up.Don´t tell me this doesn´t look amazing. The only problem is it could be horribly crippled by trying to cut this movie down for us-release.Its over 4 hours long.Did I already say it looks incredible? Still my upcoming movie favorite this year... www.youtube.com/watch?v=66usJBRXQaACan´t wait...

it looks incredible and has great music.Am i the only one whos excited for this??? Could easily end up as my favorite movie of all times.I really love chinese history, especially this romance of the three kingdoms.there is along running series in asia, parts of it on youtube.follows the events from beginning to the end.and a anime series which does the same and it not even fantasy.

i have seen the movie/part one and i love it.you won´t make jokes about the doves anymore after this film....its not realistic, the badassness of the generals is still there, taking out dozens of enemys singlehandedly.part one has not as many battles as one would expect, there are just two, but its still 35mins combined.the effects are not always great, but the final scene of the movie is a loooooong shot with a dove worth pjs lord of the rings movies.actors are great, tony leung is incredibly charming and smart, and even kaneshiro does a great job.can´t wait for part 2. 6 of 6.ah and the score is awesome.
